For example if 250 click on your site and 200 of those same users click a link for one of your advertisers sites that means that 200 is your CTR.

CPC is cost per click and is how you are paid by advertisers. It is the formula advertisers will use to determine how much to pay you for running their ads on your site. It is also similar to how Yahoo advertising works.

That is not the best example but you get the idea. Decorating ideas is the main key word and it invites you to search, shop, buy and offers free shipping and ideas. If someone searches for decorating ideas with free shipping you are covered.

Tip 3) Optimize your META tags Description and keywords are really the most important things when optimizing your META tags. META tags are the hidden lines of code inside your site title that spiders or search engine crawlers use to search for your site. In other words when someone types the words decorating and free shipping into a search engine ,it sends out spiders to look for the best sites to display. The META tags are what the spiders read. These tags summarize what your site is about. The correct syntax for a META tag is <meta name=”description” content=”your_keywords_here followed by a statement about your product service or organization.” />

Tip 4) Use a robot.txt A robot.txt is an open invitation to the search spiders to come and visit your site. The use of one is like a warm welcome to good friends on a cold night. To issue the invitation, open a text editor like notepad and type “user-agent” and save it as a robot.txt to the root file in your site.
